[Sanaki]

"that's alright, so what do you do besides take my classes?" he asked before returning his attention to Kumi 'like job wise i guess" he shrugged being a little too preoccupied wrestling the stick he was using for fetch away from Kumi.

[Scooter]

"I'm a farmer!" Scooter exclaimed, proudly. "It's a fun job! I live on a little farm house, and I plant things and make it rain when it's necessary. I don't really do much else, but it's a lot of fun and the people there are super nice to me! The nice old lady next door always brings food to my house because she says I'm 'too small'! I don't think I am, but it sure is nice! And convenient since I'm not really all that good at making food. It sure has saved me a lot of trouble." Scooter explained.

"And you're a teacher?"

[Sanaki]

"Farming has always seemed like a fun occupation but i don't think I'd be good at it" he replied "And yes I'm certainly a teacher, we would have a problem is wasn't" he answered laughing, "I surprised you haven't learned other magic by now it is quite useful you know" he added.

[Scooter]

"Farming is lots of fun! Oh, I'm sure you'd be fine at it! I'm naturally very clumsy but somehow I still manage! I'm sure anyone could do it!"

Scooter nodded in agreement to the last line Sanaki had said. " Yeah, I should have started learning a long time ago! I'm not very well educated, I guess! I've never really been to school before, but this is my first time every really having the time to spare to go to school! I like it though! Everyone is so nice and learning is fun!"

[Sanaki]

"Nice eh?" Sanaki replied rubbing his forehead his headache stilling pounding "Well better to start now then never make sure you study hard. Farming does sound good however I'm sure my little friend here would eat all the crops" he continued looking down on Kumi who had now taken to pulling on his coat "you can't sit still for 5 minutes can you?" he asked the mischievous canine.

[Scooter]

Scooter laughed as he watched Sanaki and Kumi. "You two are quite the pair! Where did you meet?"

[Sanaki]

"Ah you see, we met when i was young and traveling the world i found her as a pup and her parents had seemed to have abandoned her, which was odd but none the less i felt pity for her as i never knew my parents; so i picked her up and started raising her, ain't that right girl?" Kumi barked in response "She has been my companion ever since" he knelt down and scratched behind her ears.
"Don't you have any pets?" he asked looking up at Scooter.

[Scooter]

"Aw, what a sweet story!" Scooter exclaimed, smiling at the two. " I think it's really nice what you did for her! I personally don't have any pets, though I think I might get one sometime. They seem to make great friends!"

[Sanaki]

"Yeah, i can't imagine my life with Kumi now it seems, though you need a lot of love and devotion to them...maybe thats way i don't have a girlfriend!" he laughed but got a growl from Kumi "Oh, you know i love you the more then anyone" he replied hugging the wolf and getting a happy bark in return "See what i mean?" he asked.

[Scooter]

Scooter laughed, it was almost as if he was watching a comedy routine. " That's sweet! I'll really have to think about getting a pet now. It must be a big responsibility though? It just seems too good to be true!"

[Sanaki]

"Yes responsibility is important in pet owning, not only do you have to make sure they are properly trained and fed but behave as well..unlike you" he turned to Kumi who licked his nose in response "yeah, yeah quit trying to be all innocent and cute" he said joking "But make sure your partner is with you on your choice of pet, or there could be problems" he added.

[Scooter]

Scooter nodded as he listened to Sanakis advice. " That's true, I wouldn't want there to be an argument or anything." he said, laughing a bit.

"Hey, maybe you should try dating someone." he suggested, out of the blue. "You just seem like you really want a girlfriend."

[Sanaki]

"Yes I've overheard couples argue for hours on end about pets" he replied.

Kumi growled at Scooter for his suggestion till Sanaki tapped her head with his finger "Don't be rude" he told her "But am i that obvious of desiring human companionship?" he laughed, "I'd have no idea who to date and besides Kumi would get jealous i think" as if to emphasize the point Kumi climbed into his lap.

[Scooter]

"Whoops, Sorry, Kumi!" Scooter bowed his head. "But to answer your question, you may have been just a tiny bit obvious! It's not really something you can force though. You've just gotta go out there and meet a bunch of new people. It won't take you very long to figure out when you're in love with someone."

[Sanaki]

"Ah, but that's the problem" he smiled looking at Kumi "I can't talk to people for the life of me, unless their in my class or something; being social was not a requirement of being a traveler" he stood up much to Kumi's displeasure.

"I guess life depends on social interaction though" he pulled out a notebook from his pocket and wrote it down before returning it,"I wonder why it come so easily to you" he asked.

[Scooter]

Scooter shrugged. " I just really like people! I like having friends, so I figure that if I don't talk to new people, then they won't become my friend! It's just about your point of view, I guess. "

[Sanaki]

"I suppose your right, perhaps i'll try to be more social" Sanaki thought over the process and it brought shivers down his spine, human contact was not his thing but if he didn't want to die lonely he would have to try, "Have any tips i could use then?" he asked.

[Scooter]

"The best tip is to have confidence!" Scooter exclaimed. "If you are self conscious then people will sense that and not want to be around you! If you are confident, people will become more attracted to you because confident people just tend to be more fun! So don't be nervous. Take a deep breath and just go out there and talk to anyone you can! The more people you talk to, the more used to it you'll get!"

[Sanaki]

"Yeah...your right i should act more confidant!" Sanaki agreed, cheering up a bit "It'll be hard to overcome that, also i comes naturally to some people but i should be able to do it" he paced back and forth deep in thought "Where should i start though? what if they don't like me? ah! too many questions..." he got himself frustrated over his doubts "Whatever! back to learning that healing magic!" he exclaimed too stop himself from doubting himself even more.

[Scooter]

Scooter smiled. "I don't think that anyone will dislike you! You are a very nice man! and if they don't like you, then they aren't worth your friendship!"
