"Tests are for those who are uncapable. I am very capable. Therefore, I don't need a test. Give me the name of a god, and I will make sure that god dies."
Devan shook his head, "No, everyone and anyone can feel that. That would not make you special." he tossed the coin against the corner of an ally wall. A humming noise was heard in the air before the coin hit the ground. Dust fell from the brick of the wall and seemingly out of nothing, came a man in a black hooded cloak it was thick and in this night, you could barely see him. Except his pale white skin. Devan bowed slightly, "Master Kamieo," he motioned to Maureth as he straightened up. "He had failed but I still see him good enough. Perhaps you could make an exception?"
The hooded man looked in Maureth's direction for some time. Finally his arm raised and motioned for the man to come near him.
Maureth raised an eyebrow. "Sorry if I'm being rude, but I'd prefer to have you introduce yourself before you order me around like I'm your dog." He said, not budging from his spot.
"And I'm Maureth. Pleased to make your acquaintance." He said sarcastically. Then he walked over and stood in front of the old man, a scowl on his face. What the hell was going on?
"So you wish to kill gods.... You?" he chuckled looking him over. His head tilted to the side as he looked him over. "I may be able to draw out the potential within you. Won't be easy though. Alright Devan you may leave us, your mistakes are forgiven." Kamieo took out a coin and offered it to Maureth. "Your proof of membership, and I will explain the rest as soon as we clear this spot.."
Kamieo chuckled, "If you were going to do it on your own you should have done that earlier. Clear the area as in we leave. Leaving behind unwanted ears." devan had now left but you never knew who was listening in the windows above.
The man walked slowly and began to make his way throughy the alleys. They got smaller and smaller as he took various curves and cuts through the dark passageways. Finally they reached a metal door in which Kamieo knocked on it. There was a pause as if they were being 'checked' and then the door opened. The two entered a room that was dimmly lit and Kamieo sat down at an empty table. "Please, sit," he motioned to a chair at the table.
Kamieo smiled, "To make you you. It is not really so much that you are my tool as it is I am yours. A tool, a teacher to unlock your true self that is hiding inside of you. That is all."
"You are weak Maureth, but with a bit of guidance we can make you strong. I was about your age when I came to be strong. The training will be a few short sessions before a give you an... exam i suppose you may call it."
