Xavier smiled sadly, "Then they had their way with you afterall." this man fought with feeling, and this would be why he would lose just as he had before. "I should extend the offer back to you, leave and you will live to see that you find your revenge." he chuckled, "If I am a stepping stone then you should have more caution where you step." he focused on the daggers and a in a few seconds they dissappeared in dots of a dark purple.
Kagero chuckled inside himself as his master told him of his plans for how this would play out.
Maureth smiled. Using a variation of Dosise's own technique, he created a clone at the exact time he teleported. The clone went directly above Dosise and Kagero, a perfect copy down to the last detail. He brought his blades down quickly and deftly on Dosise, engaging him in hand to hand combat. The real Maureth only revealed his right eye, keeping the rest of himself suspended between time and space in observation of the battle. The clone could take damage, being a flesh and blood copy like he had witnessed Goria do. He would control the clone's every move from his birds eye view. This was going to be a good battle.
Xavier easily blocked the blows, it wasn't long before he realized this was a fake. "You need to work on playing puppeteer. It is evident that it is not a well practiced skill of yours. Your puppet's movements are very lacking from your own and much weaker. This thing is a disgrace, I could kill it whenever I wished." He was more annoyed on this man's attempt to trick him with his own technique than anything. After conversing with Kagero for a moment he threw a knife toward Maureth, it was not at all meant to wound. Just show that he knew where he was. He could not hide.
"Stop being foolish. Unless you do not wish to defeat the one who took your life from you."
Yemet had long ago activated a seal and had sacrificed smell for increased vision. He then took it one step further and sacrificed taste as well for better hearing. Maureth and Dosise were fighting, so now was the time to escape. He heard guards run by the house with torches, some commenting on the wyvern standing near the castle. Yemet deactivated all seals and jumped out of the window again. A guard turned around and saw him, but realized he had fallen too far behind to call for help. So instead, he charged Yemet with his halberd. Yemet dodged the blow and threw a powerful elbow into the back of the man's skull. He dropped to the ground, unconscious. Then Yemet ran towards the inn. Maybe he could get there in time to be safe.
Maureth closed the portal and the knife passed though the air, after which Maureth reappeared. He was still only an eye. "Ya' know Dosise, that assassin is getting away... Why don't you try and go after him? Maybe he killed the king, or little Cecilia. Who knows?" He taunted. Then he opened the portal directly above Dosise. "Boo!" He yelled, disappearing again. Then Maureth appeared above Kagero in full, cutting another hole in the tender wing of the wyvern. Maureth disappeared again before the two could retaliate. This was a fun way to toy with opponents, even though it did use quite a bit of energy than simply throwing a knife or giant fireball. Maureth revealed his upper body, keeping his lower body hidden. He didn't know if he could use that technique... But he was about to find out. "Well? Fight me, if you can hit me!" Maureth taunted even further.

"He leaves a large trail. Don't worry I won't lose him." Xavier was not Surprised in the slightest. He could tell Maureth was only just a beginner in the teleportation arts. Although skilled, he left a sloppy scar and was easy to follow. It would be hard not to hit Maureth and not kill him. It was the way he fought, a game of chess really, and to get Maureth into a checkmate without killing him would be difficult.
"You act as thought your words sting me at all." he chuckled. Time to lure him in. "But I must wonder. Why would they bet on you?" he referred to the Hydra, "I poor bet really, unless they see you as a fitting pawn in their game."
"Even pawns can become knights." Maureth said. He went for another attack, when he sensed a familiar presence. He turned, his eyes wild in anger and hatred. "YOU!!!!!" He screamed as his brother teleported to the battlefield.
Yemet heard Maureth's call even from across the now great distance. That's when he physically felt the third presence, and knew that even though he was a very wanted man by now that he needed to go back. With an exhasperated sigh, he turned and activated the seal for power and speed. He got back to the sight of the battle within a few short minutes, where Maureth was glaring across the field at another man who looked much like him. Yemet turned towards the silent Dosise.
"I know I am wanted... But let us hold off this chase until this battle has an aftermath." He said. He put a hand on Kagero, feeling the rough skin of the wyvern underneath his hand. Using one of his seals, he healed the wyvern completely. "This may get interesting..." He said to Dosise.
Xavier had almost delivered the blow to take out Maureth. One more second and it would have been too late. Now he was shocked at the man's quick change in targets. He turned to Yemet, "I am not so sure you are wanted, well for what I am not sure that is."
Yemet looked at Dosise, confused by his lack of eloquence in his speech. "That man who Maureth is fighting now is my client. I had to kill two servants, who I suspect weren't really that poor. He told me that if I should encounter Maureth, that I was not to underestimate him unless I wanted to die. As wild as he may be, he is still a ruthless killer with the instincts god gave a tiger." Yemet explained. He sat down on and rested his chin on his hand, watching the showdown unfold.
Xavier opened a portal and the many knives in which Maureth had first attempted to attack him with shot out into the ground. He sighed in relief. The struggle of maintaining and reopening the portal took a ton of concentration. This was probably the reason for his poor speaking. "The two you killed, I know not who they are but this is the reason on why I did not count you as 'wanted'. Perhaps they needed to be removed and you removed them for us, which if this is to be the case. I will turn a blind eye. As for him," he motioned to Maureth. "He is lucky that other showed up."
Yemet chuckled. "I don't know your name, but I will tell you one thing. You are almost as cocky as him. Even if you know what you're going to do, you cannot know what your enemy will do. From what I've seen of him, if he truly wished it he could level Avaleur in one blow if he tried. Yes, you have a wyvern, and yes I do know that you are capable in combat as well as some of the magical arts. That all doesn't matter if you can't see from your opponents point of view." Yemet said. He never really talked much, so him giving advice was very rare and was probably poorly delivered. He swore to himself, vowing to learn how to talk better.
Maureth ignored the two behind him and charged his brother, summoning a blade as he did so. Immediately, his brother did the same and the two traded blows strong enough to cause trees to bend from the energy dispelled. "You bastard!!! I'll kill you where you stand!!!" Maureth screamed. His brother smiled and kicked him in the stomach, sending Maureth sprawling.
"You cannot kill me with those eyes." He said calmly, almost cocky.
Xavier chuckled, "Kagero was not part of the fight, and as for seeing things through his eyes. That was easy, he was quite predictable. I have dealt with enough 'unpredictable' people to notice how they truly are predictable. I knew he would use what he figured to be his newest and greatest skills rather than the ones he had been able to master. He was a much more difficult opponent the first time I will admit that. And as for me being cocky, yes I suppose I can be but only when I know I can win. If he has more sense then I have to say.... He could do as you said and 'level Avaleur', but his mind is far from being capable of that." he said as he watched Maureth prove his theories.
Yemet laughed as the young man explained himself. He truly enjoyed watching others try to analyze themselves. "A mind is not needed to cause destruction." He answered, watching as Maureth was quickly put on the defensive.
