So many lives lost in the recent wars. The elven woman sighed as she walked through the graveyard with a basket of tiny little white flowers, almost overflowing over the basket. She placed one flower on each and every grave that she could. She wanted them to know that Avaleur was thankful to them, that she was thankful for them. She took a moment to stare at Kavanah's grave, giving off a sigh. Nothing was buried, but it still represented the passing of the knight. She bowed to it for a while, before continuing through the graves, bowing to each one and placing a flower on each one.
The basket was empty, and each grave had a tiny flower on top of it. She smiled gently. After years of being here, she had really began believing in Avaleur. For years, she thought of it as the town she lived in, the town that paid to see her fight in the arena. But now, she was the leader of the knights, the hand to the king. She created bigger and better things for the town. Namari had become attached. Not just to the town, but to everyone in it.
She leaned up against a large tree, eyes closed lightly as she listened to the birds. The sun was just coming up. The air was crisp and fresh. And Avaleur had a new beginning. The elven woman hoped with all of her heart that this was the end. No more wars, no more crazy gods. She hoped that everything would just be good.
Opening her eyes once more, she looked up at the sky. At least things would be calm now, even if it were only for just a little while. But none the less, Namari frowned. ...how do the people here think of me, anyways? Do they like me, or hate me? Hell, compared to Roland I think they'd rather him, she chuckled. As much as she cared for the man, she would be blind to not know that a lot of the people considered him the leader of the knights, rather than her. She didn't mind much. She just sat smiling once more, eyes shut as she leaned up against the tree.
