"Your perspective on men seem to not be on par with that of gods. The only true difference is lifespan. Other than that the two may as well be the same. We worship gods, and some people choose to worship people. Men fight, gods fight. Men die, gods die. The only difference is how time effects us."
"They are different. Every god has some sort of powerful ability, whereas ninety- six percent of men do not. Being good at fighting means nothing if time is stopped and you are run through the heart. Being able to cast the strongest spells mean nothing when space itself gets bent around you and kills you instantly. Some men have the ability to be on par, but the will to do it is usually not there. They are frightened, and don't wish to take the chance they'll be noticed and hunted down like dogs. Look at the werewolves. They are far stronger, but people fear them due to the actions of one. Now all are hunted and looked down upon."
"And you have been alive for a long time yes? Each year you become more powerful. You learn abilities that put you in that ten to forty percent. Gods the same, do not be foolish and think all gods are created with power from the start. Just like it took you years to develop your skills, so does it for a god. Men just have far less time to work with."
"Why do you think there is so few gods and so many men? Our fate has been our own since the beginning of time, we must just choose to change it."
"I never said it was our fate, in fact I never said anything about fate. The reason gods are stronger is because they have had since the start, or near the start, of time to grow and perfect their abilities. As far as I know, I am the only mortal who has had time to try and catch up to them. Albeit, there are strong mortals capable of killing gods but they are few and far, far in between. While I may be as strong as one, I would still hate to fight them alone." Roe said. Then he realized what he said and shut his mouth.
Namesiwa smiled, "I know you said nothing of it, but I just like to mention it, remind myself from time to time." He didn't know why the elf wouldn't just admit he was right about the time thing but he would say nothing of it. "It was nice to speak with you again, best of luck in whatever your decision may be."
