Dani cursed and swore under her breath as she walked down the city. They had taken over. And what was she to do? She could go to the rebellion. But there was a few problems.
For one, where was Xavier? She could not find him anywhere, and she couldn't go to the guild's base. She just couldn't. What if the dark ones followed her? The entrance was in the city after all. That goes for saying that the same would be for the rebellion. Though she could easily sneak out as a cat.
And where were the knights in general? She had heard of the arrest of the queen, which was definitely a bad thing, and her hand had the indecency to throw his own queen in jail. A betrayer.
Dani hated betrayers. Very much.
She couldn't find any of her friends. Xavier, Walter, Kyle. Hell, even Dax she would consider her friend, especially in these times. But Dani knew for certain she wanted to help. And she did not know how to.
She was alone, scared and upset. Alone in a big city once again. And everything seemed so hostile, she didn't think she could trust anyone.
Dani sat down at the fountain, and wrapped her arms around her legs, pressing her legs to her chest. What was she ever to do?
She rested her chin on her knees, and gave out a long sigh. Nothing to do. Oh how she wanted a friend right now.
Sanaki had one hand in his pocket while another held open a book which had been filled in prices of daily items, "Oh right the sewing prices have gone up hasn't it, sheesh maybe i should work overtime..." he mumbled, he looked over his book to make sure he was still headed for the fountain.
Noticing someone else beat him to the fountain he wanted to turn away however something looked off, it took him a moment to realize the person was that bar maid for the place he burned down not to long ago...great; figuring he should at least say sorry he meekly approached her returning his book to his pocket while trying to wave "U-um h-hi um well uh...." he kinda muttered off hoping he caught her attention at least

(( I don't mind : D ))
Dani looked up, and raised her eyebrows. She remembered him. He helped her while she was at the bar. She might have been chased by that crazy guy without him around.
"Oh hello. Fancy meeting you here," she gave a half smile. She wasn't in the greatest mood, but she could at least smile to the people who talked her. To not smile would just be rude.
"Y-yeah i suppose, u-um look I'm s-sorry i kinda b-burned down yo-" Sanaki was almost through his apology when he felt something was off, 'She hates me doesn't she?' was his first thought but it seemed incorrect so he went right into asking, "H-hey are you alright? Sanaki tilted his head as he asked and crouched down somewhat in order to be eye level, "Your not looking so swell" He added with concern.

Dani chuckled bitterly, running a hand through her hair. "First off you saved me. Nothing to be sorry about, though I must thank you for it. Second, well...this whole shit that's going up in the castle is really bugging me. I mean, what the hell did the Queen even do? I bed shit all."
She shook her head in pity. "We need the assholes running the castle right now gone. Completely."
"Yeah i almost killed you after I'm not much of a savior..." Sanaki muttered looking away in shame, the second part completely flew over his head, the queen? he hardly got into rulers and subjects but she was in jail now? "Jail huh? damn...maybe we should bust her out.." was all Sanaki managed to get out since he had almost no idea what had happened.
"W-well if its all assholes running the castle we could always just get rid of them though it would be tricky" Sanaki was half-way to going into his own little rant of planning but caught himself just in time; "R-right so well i guess we s-should leave it to the guards for now but you shouldn't be sad about things you can't control right? cheer up." Sanaki tied smiling to lighten the mood.

"It's the guards who threw her in there. Not to mention the knights are nowhere to be found. There's some who believe her in the city, of course, but they wouldn't fight up against the castle. Against the guards whom have protected them many times over," Dani furrowed her eyebrows. The whole thing was a complete mess.
"Not to mention the ones who took over are pretty damn fucking strong, I would take it. I mean, if the knights and queen tried, well, they're powerful. And if they did try, and were defeated, then that means these guys are the shit. Unless they pit the guards up against them. They would probably go a bit easier on their own people," Dani rambled and rambled, before stopping and smiling at the man.
"You didn't try to kill me, you were helping. And I appreciate that. Besides, the pub is fine now, they fixed it up," she spoke cheerfully, with a shrug.
"Oh? i didn't know it was fixed, i doubt they would let me in though, otherwise i would buy you a drink" Sanaki chuckled somewhat but rubbed his neck in thought; while in thought his knees gave out from under him obviously being tired of crouching forcing him to sit on the ground and come to the conclusion he had no way to fix this which hurt, letting out a defeated sigh he looked up to the barmaid and shrugged "I got nothing on how to fix this, forcing a way through isn't likely and i don't know the castle well enough to sneak in" he shrugged before adding "If you have any other problems I'd be happy to help with those" he laughed a bit.
Sanaki was busy connecting the bits and pieces of information regarding what had happened in his absent he had received so far he nodded to himself in confirmation of his thoughts.
As Sanaki opened his mouth to speak of the man leading the resistance in the woods he closed it to listen to the bar maid speak once more; "P-problems?" Sanaki was a bit taken aback that this person could rebound from a sad state right into helping him, "U-um i can't think of any personal problems i face currently" a thought snapped through his causing him to realize a flaw he made "O-oh right haha u-um I'm Sanaki Katakuna n-nice to meet you" he blushed slightly embarrassed extending his hand.
"Al-alright Dani." Sanaki was still nervous being in a social situation but now knowing the person's name he was ready to calm down, "S-so you want to go do something? i think if we just keep sitting around a-and talk for to long it may l-look weird" Sanaki shrugged since he had no real way to solve the current problems that were present.
((Also cause i have no idea were to take the story after my Hiatus))

Dani giggled slightly, amused with the man. She found it fun that he seemed embarrassed to talk with people, embarrassed and nervous. He seemed slightly more calm now, though. "Sure," she stated, standing up and brushing herself off with a grin.
Dani faced Sanaki, a hand extended to help him up. "We can go to the pub, my treat."
"S-shouldn't I be paying?" Sanaki asked taking her hand and getting up "i-its rather impolite to make a lady pay no?" he questioned while stretching somewhat and dusting himself off hoping to stay away from the topic of how he burned down the place they were about to head off to again, he already lost the argument on that subject and didn't want to make her have to worry about his apologies and useless blabbering when she had her own problems.

"Oh please, I'm a girl not a princess. I can pay," Dani chuckled, walking towards the pub. "Besides I'm far from being lady like, anyhow."
Ahh yes, the criminal Dani, lady like. With her shorts and baggy shirts, tank tops underneath. Nails short, hair just thrown back. She stole, killed, and was part of a group of criminals. Yeah. She was definitely a lady.
Sanaki looked her from top to bottom out of the corner of his eye, she had not being a princess right, but not hiding who she was was better than most of the women in town who often dressed all flashy whenever they could and flaunted when they were being noticed which in Sanaki's eyes was weird and almost disturbing.
Sanaki put his hands in his pockets as he walked along and simply said "Maybe not in your eyes" and the moment the first word came out he regretted it 'Dang it! now I'm going to sound all creepy! dangitdanitdangit' Sanaki's thoughts ran laps in his mind as he balled his fists in his pockets, 'Or maybe she hates being called ladylike? gaaaah!!! i need Kumi to bite on the leg or something' Sanaki braced for a lecturing as his walk stiffened 'I'm so dead...'.

Dani looked over at Sanaki, surprised for a moment at what he had said. At seeing his face, looking almost panicked, and she smiled. Dani, quite frankly, found it adorable.
"I suppose in others eyes I'm lady like, or a princess. My dad used to call me princess all the time, really," she responded, deciding not to ask what his opinion was. As much as she wanted to see him get nervous, and as much as she wished to hear what he had to say about her, he was probably already nervous as hell.
Sanaki had a bright blush across his face expecting quite the smack-down via words but was surprised by Dani's next words and grinned nervously as he risked looking her right in the eyes, "yeah i-in my eyes-er yeah um so,y-your father h-huh? i see" Sanaki fumbled with his words before something struck hollow in him...father...of course that would explain why no image or memory appeared in his mind even for his mother, its not like he had any to begin with, Though somewhat saddened Sanaki still displayed a smile on his face.
"A-anyway so yeah um" Sanaki looked for a different subjects before he blurted something else out that would cause him more embarrassment, luckily he remembered something "S-so what did that guy want with you anyway?" Sanaki gave a concerned look he obviously said something that had made her run.

"Oh goodness," Dani laughed slightly nervously.
"Well basically things started out a little weird, but nothing I couldn't handle. He was a creep, but he didn't make me uncomfortable or anything. Until he said he wanted to cut me open, in which I decided to leave. He grabbed me, I managed to sort of get away and try to leave. That's when you arrived," she grinned. Once again thankful for Sanaki arriving just in time.
"Thank you, again. I don't know what would have happened without you," she blushed slightly, embarrassed. Dani was never one to be able to protect herself after all.
Sanaki listened intently to Dani's recall of what happened at the bar before he arrived "Yeah he is not really much of a...well sane person, it doesn't surprise me he said those sorts of things its unfortunate you that he happened to choose you of all people." Sanaki stared ahead as he began talking "I've met him multiple times and none of the encounters were good i can state that for a fact, he needs to be stopped soon".
Sanaki blinked a few times as Dani said thanks "Your welcome? I'm just glad you weren't hurt" Sanaki grinned but something caught is eye 'is she blushing, stop staring stupid you'll be seen as weird stop it!' Sanaki quickly adjusted his gaze towards the sky as he scratched he back of his head.
