(( Private RP between Dante/Dani and Xavier Dosise ))
Dani walked, a hood covering her face and the cloak attached surrounding her body. It was a few days after she found the book that could save Xavier's life, and the day of the full moon. First she tried to search for Sanaki- but gave up after not being able to find him. Not to mention she realized he was a healer. Even if he did know dark magic- was he an expert? Danielle decided to go and search for Xavier's friend, Dante.
Little was known about this man. She had never seen him before. She asked around for days, not knowing even where to start. She learned a few things about him- he was the deceased King, Phillis', lover. He was an expert of magic, and graduated from the magic classes at the public school early. Not to mention he was her best friend Stacy's cousin. Would he be as optimistic as her? Or calm and collected like her parents?
After a few days of searching she grew nervous. It was the morning of the full moon, and she did not want to wait a month to try the ritual. Dani knew that Xavier might not have that time.
A quick visit to the school, they released his address after she stated that it was important business. But this was his address from two years prior- he might not have lived there anymore. It was worth a shot, and off she went, making her way to the town house he might have lived in.
When she reached the house, she dully noted its picture perfect appearance. It was a small, comfortable looking house, with a garden bed surrounding the walls. It was two stories high, with a chimney on the top. Staring at it for a few moments, she realized she was wasting time.
Danielle hurried up the steps, and knocked loudly at the door. Time seemed to stop as she waited. And waited. And waited. She was about to give up as she slowly turned around, when the door swung open. There stood a man with short brown hair, and big blue eyes. His coat was brown with a fluffy hood, and patches all along the left sleeve. Past him, Dani could see an uncountable number of books in his house- on chairs, tables, the floor, on shelved and a coat-rack. She then looked back to him. They stared at each other for a moment, before he smiled, and spoke, "Anything I can help you with?"
The neko girl froze for a moment, unable to speak. He slowly began raising an eyebrow, before she straightened herself out and replied, "Perhaps...Are you Dante? Dante Ahti?" "Yes, I am! And who might you be?" he grinned, leaning up against the door frame with his arms crossed and one leg bent.
"My name is Danielle Otis...I was a friend of your cousin, Stacy Thompson. I believe you know Xavier Dosise?" the girl stiffened up, nervous. He stared for another moment before slowly nodding, "Yes, yes I do...why do you ask?"
"He needs your help. Please," her eyes were desperate. If he didn't know what to do, she didn't know who else could. Her hands were clenched, turning white at the knuckles. Her face going red. And Dante seemed to notice. "...Please, come in. I'll try and help you out in any way that I can," his grin had become a soft smile, as he moved out of the doorway and into the house, turning only to see if Dani was going into the house.
And with a relieved sigh, she did.
"Alright, so we've gotta get to a clearing..." Dante stated, as Danielle and himself walked along to Xavier's home. Dante knew fully well that he had been in a very dark place for quite a while- he didn't know if it was enough to complete these spells, but he knew that he would have to try. Xavier had made his cousin happy- it was time to return the favor.
In his hand, he held the book he had stolen from his sister so long ago. For the second spell, he believed that it was in there. But he was not a hundred percent sure. Not in the slightest. Again, he had to try.
Danielle was thankful for this. She nearly burst into tears, after telling the sorcerer the story. She held it in of course- she never cried.
"I'll draw a magic circle, he'll step in the middle and I'll chant the first spell. Now, you might have to go out and catch a squirrel or something for the blood sacrifice," he stated, clutching his book even tighter in hand. Danielle nodded, not really caring. A smile was plastered onto her face as they neared Dosise's house. He might actually make it.
"Here's hoping that you can do it Dante," she stated, walking faster and faster. He nodded, walking faster with her, "I'll try my best, don't worry."
They reached Dosise's doorstep, and Danielle promptly just wondered inside, as Dante raised an eyebrow. The mage stood outside for a moment before shrugging, and walking inside as well.
"Xavier! I got Dante!" she stated, stepping in the middle of the room as Dante looked around.
