Dante pouted, "You're no fun."
"Oh hush," Dani rolled her eyes, with a small smile on her lips. "I think that's a good idea Xavier... I hadn't even thought of that. Glad to know you want to help yourself before having fun." Their walk to the pub was rather quick, as Dante hammered them through the city.
Once there, Danielle took out a key from inside her shoe, and unlocked the pub. She pushed the door open and allowed herself inside. It seemed that everyone had decided to go home earlier that night- they had the place all to themselves.
"So!" Dante spoke, slipping into one of the chairs with a grin, "How long have you two been...friendly?" he winked, before being near a fit of giggles. Every time he heard someone was in a relationship, he seemed to make the couple embarrassed with his pushing, and his questions. Often this was with very new couples, though. He never realized he would do it, though he always has. It just got worse with the death of Phillis- hearing about others joys to fill his sadness. And it worked, he would cheer up most of the time, hearing of others happiness in a relationship.
He took little note of his joking with him and shrugged it off easy enough. When Dani let them into the building he went back behind the counter and peeked around before givin up and deciding to let the one who worked here do it. "Dani do you mind gettin us some things, I'm not sure where everything is at," he chuckled which followed soon into a bit of a blush with Dante's comments. "Well tht depends, do you mean uninterrupted? Or does while me being intangible still count?" He asks.

"I'll be just a bit then, I'll get the good stuff from the back," Dani grinned, then quickly asked, "Dosise is water, Dante?" "Scotch," he said with a smile. She nodded, and hurried to the back. Really though, she didn't want to be asked questions- she knew she would go as red as a tomato.
Dante turned to Dosise and smiled once more, "While you were all messed up counts. I mean, she visited you, right? So that means you guys were still technically together."
"Yes then I suppose that is true." He ponder the question himself.. How long had it been (no really how long lol XD ) "I would have to say about three months then?" He stated as a question because he wasn't so sure himself. Time seemed to go by quick and while he was sick it was a weird slow fast. One day they are having sex the next they can't even touch eachother. Oh... Then there was that, he wondered if- no he could think that stuff later.

(( LOL Ohh Dosise you perv ))
Dante slowly nodded, and smiled. "Ahh, yeah? How'd you two get together?" An awkward question to Dosise and Dani to be telling people- but to Dante it seemed harmless enough
In the back, Danielle rummaged through the cupboards, looking for cold drinks to hand to the boys.
Wow.. At first it seemed like such an easy answer, but one he couldn't tell. But with more thought it was sort of complex, it was more than him just meeting her for work in the guild an then slowly becoming a couple. It sort of just happened out of nowhere... How do you explain that one?!
He chuckled a bit, "Well you see we sort of ran into eachother and the more we saw of eachother the more we just uh.. Clicked." Poor Dosise, he was quite horrible at these romantic things.

Dante smiled wider. Of course, that was a very simple explanation to Dante- he thought that was how most people got together. Though, Danielle and Xavier's circumstance was a tad bit different.
"Interesting. I'm glad to see you happy Dosise. Even more glad to see that you're okay now- even though I only knew of your condition since this morning," the man leaned back in his chair and stared up at the ceiling. "Other then being stuck like that, what have you been up to? I haven't seen you in quite some time."
Xavier felt the underside of the table as he thought, he could really say everything. Not just because of the Shadow Guild but also because it would take too long!
"I can't remember if you knew already but I did become a knight," he said with a bit of pride. He remembered discussing it with him awhile ago but he didn't know he Dante ever heard about the outcome. "And how about yourself, I imagine you have been testing your limits? And expanding them?" he asked raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

A tad bit embarrassed, Dante replied, "Like i said, for a while there I wasn't in the right place...I pushed myself with fighting magics, learning more about darker magic and such. I would spend days in my house, reading book after book that I owned, and I would go out into the deeper parts of the forest to practice them. I wanted revenge so badly, I lost my head." "I'm getting better though, talking to people again. Staying away from those types of magic- though I don't mind using them for a good cause," he grinned, speaking about what he had just helped Xavier accomplish.
"Though I do know what my limits are. Trying to expand them will take me a lot of years, but it'll come."
"Well I think I can understand where you come from, and can appreciate the fact that you are out of it just as much as you can." he said with a nod, he himself had been in a similar place.
"Ha, listen to you, you sound like some old man, talking about knowing your limits and lots of years." he smiled while shaking his head, "Amazing, you are an amazing sorcerer Dante, and it isn't just your age that shows it."

With a raised eyebrow, Dante laughed. "I remember when that used to be my main goal...now I have no idea what I want to do," he shrugged. But he wasn't worried about that at all- he knew he would someday have something to strive for again. "Thank you Dosise. Really, you're a good friend," he gave the man a nod.
"Not the best stuff, but the best I could find!" Dani called out, as she entered the room once more with three glasses. One water, and two with scotch. She handed the water and scotch to the men, before sitting down herself and taking a sip.
"I think you picked perfectly." Xavier said as he smiled to Dani, he chose those words because he wanted them to have a bit of double meaning, both for the drinks and for Dante.
He practically chugged his water and let out, not a loud, but for sure a noticeable 'ah'. He got up to fill er up. "Thank you Dani."
Upon hearing that, his hand went straight for the cupboard. He took out a bowl of grapes and a rather large piece of bread before return to the table the others were at.
"Oh no, it for sure won't happen again." at least it would never happen again by his doing. ((lol random thought, your play-by always makes me forget she has cat ears XD))
The grapes were quite delicious despite it not being their season.

(( Ohh don't worry, sometimes I forget that she's a Neko, sometimes I forget that Namari only has one arm too! ))
Dani smiled at Dosise ate- overjoyed that he was back. "I hope not, it's not that fun. For anyone, least of all you," Dante laughed, then yawned. "How'd it happen, anyways?" the sorcerer asked with curiosity.
He took a long sip of his water before answering That One. "Uh, well..." he did in fact turn a bit red in embarrassment but it faded rather quickly. "I stayed an illusion for too long and my original self started to become the illusion." he wondered if any further explanation would be need or not. He rather hoped not.

Dante slowly nodded, not understanding how it could happen, but understanding that that seemed legitimate. "I suppose you'd rather not become an illusion again any time soon?" the man spoke jokingly.
"No not me personally," he laughed, "Not for as long as possible."
He could do other illusion spells just fine, make a girl appear, make spiders come out his nose, but making himself an illusion he wasn't sure he would do for awhile, not without easing back into it.

"I'd be scared to do that again," Dani smiled, taking a sip of her drink.
Dante was already done, placing the empty glass onto the table. "I should be getting going," he said, standing up and brushing himself off. "It's been quite the night. Besides, you guys probably want to be alone for a while anyways!" Dante winked, before laughing to ease the embarrassment and standing up. "If you guys need me again at all, just give me a holler and I'll be over."
Xavier nodded, in his eyes were what he was really feeling. The incredible thanks for everything. "Take care, I'll be seeing you. NOT under these circumstances," he smiled afterward. The first part of all of that he sort of ignored.
