"Paineston." Lorelei answered, although she had always been traveling to and from. She always managed to end up back in Paineston somehow. " And yourself?"
"Oh my thats the question of stories" he replied with a laugh "To make it short and sweet lets just say i've been all around the world, even Paineston, i've always traveled" he smiled.
Lorelei looked at the man in surprise. " Oh, well, I have also traveled around quite a bit. Although, I haven't been all around the world. Just on this side." She explained as she kept following behind the man. " So, you are a teacher?"
"Just this side?" the comment struck him a little funny "You must explore the other side too it's great, not to mention different." he would have gone into detail but that would have lasted atleast two days; "Also yes i'm a teacher, i teach basic magic and expert level of healing" he got a little too caught up in talking and forgot where he was; he gained his bearings and headed towards the plaza again, luckily it was close.
Lorelei noticed the man looked a bit confused about where he was going. " Oh, that is nice. Do you teach children or older erm.. teenagers, I think they are called?"
Sanaki looked at her a little surprised and confused "Yeah, i teach all ages" and finally fully turned towards her and looked at her serious and confused "Do you have any outside knowledge? aside fom dancing and basic things?" he had a feeling that something was off.
"I have basic knowledge, yes. How to live like a normal person and such things. Although, I often forget things. I can not read or write or any sort of educated thing. I do know much magic though." Lorelei explained. "Is that unusual?"
"I see for a noraml person, yes it is unusual" he stared at her more "But your not a a regular person are you?-no thats not right, your not a human all together; oh wait thats rude sorry!" he thought for a moment then decided "Well if you don't know how to read, write, etc i'll teach you." he put his hands on his hips "Er... well if you want that is."
Before accepted such an offer, Lorelei had to ask 'Mamas' permissions first.
Go ahead, Lorelei. There is no harm in education. The voice boomed in her head, encouraging her.
"Yes. I will take your offer and you are quite correct in assuming I am not human." Lorelei said, very unemotionally. " Shall we continue onto the plaza?"
" Excellent we can start whenever you'd like, and if your not human, then may i ask what are you? Also the plaza is right up here." people filled the plaza moving from shop to shop and speaking with one another about Avaleur's latest 'happenings', the people moved to and fro out of each others way as if they had been trained their whole life to do so "What do you think?" he asked.
"I think i recalled one being on the left side of town, couldn't hurt to check" he shurgged "you fancy costumes i assume?" he looked around from shop to shop appearing more like just another citizen.
Lorelei nodded her head as if to say 'yes.' It was rather noticeable that she was still in her 'Babydoll' costume, although not the modern lingerie version. It was a very innocent looking poofy dress like a porcelain doll would wear. She was also still in her tap shoes.
Soon enough, Lorelei spotted the costume shop. She gave a little smile as she went inside, looking through the store.
Sanaki walked inside as well but stood near the doorway, it was weird for a guy to be in a costume shop and he was getting enough weird looks already to begin with one his white hair and two he was now in a costume shop, he pulled out a book out of his pocket and began reading to make it look like the costume shop was just a nice place to read.
Lorelei picked out a costume and went into the change rooms to change into it quickly. When she got out she walked toward Sanaki. "Well, what do you think?" she asked, doing a twirl. " I think this costume suits my act much better then the other dress. Don't you think so?"
Sanaki looked up from his book before closing it and returning it to his pocket "It looks great on you" he smiled before adding "Yes i see what you mean it would fit the play better but the bottom should have a bit more frill and....." he stopped noticing everyone in the store was giving him a weird look now, if he wasn't himself he would probably give himself a weird look too.
Lorelei nodded in agreeance, completely ignorant to the weird stares the two of them were getting. " I will try to see a tailor about getting more frills then."
She twirled around a few more times, the dress flowed nicely. " It seems to flow the perfect way as well."
"Mmhm perhaps if the apron was long-no the flow would..." he looked over at the people who quickly turned away pretnding to be busy, he sighed he was going to hear about this for a while "Would you like me to buy it for you?" he asked.
