"Of course mama must know everything, why should she not?" Lorelei questioned. "Mama brought me life and deserves to see what I do with it. Does she not deserve that much?"
"It's not so much as what she deserves but what you deserve, it dosen't matter if she gave you life or not your still a person er-well in a sense, but she shouldn't control you; you should be living your own life without having to let her see everything." Sanaki was glad they got to the garden and he could just focus on talking instead of directions.
"Oh no. That would make mama angry. I live only to do as mama tells me." Lorelei concluded as they arrived inside the garden. "This is very lovely." she said as she looked around. " Very beautiful."
"But why would you--" he let out sigh it seemed pointing out logic would be useless "Yes i'm surprised not many people are here" that was an understatement, there was no one around; he found a nearby bench and sat down, he might as well rest while he was here.
Lorelei looked around at the different flowers. She stopped in front of the yellow roses. They reminded her of the random roses that showed up in her house. She shrugged it off and continued looking around. "Do you come here often?" she asked Sanaki.
"Some times if i have no classes to teach, its very peaceful here and is great for relaxing, plus its wonderful when the flowers are in bloom like they are now which makes it that much more enjoyable" he admired the scene with no people around to give him weird looks "Do you think you'll come back here, or even head out again?" he questioned back.
"Probably not until the show has finished for good in two weeks or so." Lorelei sat beside Sanaki. " But then I will be right on to the next project. I seldom have leisure time like this." she explained. "Where do you teach? Is there a school here?"
"It must be hard to always be performing, and yes there is i teach most of the basics at the public school, but i also teach at the university on healing magic" he answered "Well, even if performing is your job you should get out at least three days a week, its bad to stayed coped up in a building all week." he added looking off into the distance.
"Huh? I expalined this before i teach all the basic of a school magic included, well i do know some other high 'level' magic, but i don't teach those" he smiled nervously, had she forgotten already? he hoped not.
"Oh i see... well yes depending on the situation most use magic as a faster way of doing things, like starting a fire, they could just light the wood on fire instead of conventional means, but many use it for battle its a good offensive and defensive while in battle; or helping others like using healing magic for instance to help the wounded, magic just has so many purposes it's hard to explain them all" he looked at Lorelei as he explained, he wondered what else he would teach her.
((jeez, i certainly took the long way of answering a yes or no question))
Lorelei nodded her head as she listened. "I can also use magic, but I have been to various places where magic was forbidden. I am glad this is not one of those places."
"Yes i know what you mean i've been to places like that as well, alot people fear it i think, it dosen't make sense to me" he created a small orb of water and dispersed it among the flowers, "They were looking a little dry" he said shurgging.
"I see, luckily it is right inside those doors" he nodded towards the doors just a few steps away "so it is not that far of walk" he laughed as he got up.
Sanaki laughed "Yes this is the castle, i'm suprised you didn't notice on our way here, and the library should be right here" he said as he walked though another doorway into the library, much like the garden no one was around; not even the workers which was a little surprising.
