**Private RP between Namari and Phillis**
Phillis had made sure to go to the practice fields when nobody else was around. He needed to learn how to fight, but he had too much pride to ask someone else to teach him. It seemed difficult, and like a lot of work. And he really wasn't so big on the idea of sweating. But after all, he was the king. It was to be expected that he could at least fight a little bit.
Truth be told, he was forced to take fighting lessons ever since he was a child. It was a mandatory royal thing. But he never bothered going to any lessons. He had this cute, angelic face as a child and just throwing on some tears got him out of anything he didn't want to do. The few lessons he did show up for resulted in injury which ended up in more tears, and once again, he wouldn't have to go back.
Thanks to that, the man wasn't even sure how to hold the sword Namari had given him. He looked it over. He had held swords before, but god forbid he actually remember the proper grip. He sighed, dropping the sword multiply times as his hands could not get comfortable. How was he supposed to become good at fighting when he couldn't even hold the damn thing? And why was it so fucking heavy? The man seriously pondered how a woman had managed to carry it around for so long when he, a man, could barely pick it up after it fell to the ground.

Namari walked through the castle corridors looking for the king. Where the hell is he... she thought to herself, looking around. Reaching the training grounds, she spotted the young king.
He wielded her old sword, and yet he was barely able to pick it up. At this, she chuckled.
"Phillis! Having troubles, I see?" she grinned as she walked over towards him.

Phillis frowned at Namari. "Yes, you don't even know." he said, feeling embarrassed that he'd run into her out of all people. He picked up the sword, using both hands. "You know, I've opened bear traps before, but picking this thing up is immensely more difficult.. How did you even manage?"

Phillis sighed, immediately feeling weaker at the sight of Namari using the claymore with such ease. " I somehow feel a lot worse about myself, thank you." he sarcastically replies.

"Your welcome." Namari grinned. "No worries. In no time, we'll have those scrawny arms be as strong as mine! Well, maybe not mine, but certainly stronger!"

"Oh, you do not want my help? That's perfectly fine, not to worry. Have fun learning on your own. Ta-tah~!" Namari waved goodbye, smiling cheekily as she began to walk away.

"Well, first you should know how to hold it. A claymore is a two handed weapon." she handed him the claymore. "Hold it straight up, stern and strong, one fist over the other. Keep a tight grip."

"Well, start swinging it from side to side slowly, to get used to the feel of it." the woman nodded, unshiething her claymore and demonstrated, but with one hand instead of two. "Also, make sure your grip is enough to hold it, but enough that you arent uncomfortable."

Having the strength to hold the sword and being comfortable while doing it? Phillis didn't see the connection. It seemed like you could only have one or the other. Once his hands would become comfortable, his strength would lower and he'd nearly drop the claymore. Once he got his strength back, his hands would be too tense to even move into a more comfortable position.
After a moment of swinging the sword, he started to get the hang of it, and it began to come naturally with less difficulties. "I hope swordsmanship isn't always this mundane." he sarcastically said.
