Almost right after Dante mentioned that it was quite, a faint flap, possibly from wings, was heard to there left. Enoch remained as still as possible as he turned his head. He looked at the ground and you could see just a bit of a long scaled tail with its tip looking like a spear.
Dante raised an eyebrow, he had never seen anything like it. Wings and a scale tail...wings and a scale tail...what is it... Dante pondered the thought, completely forgetting the situation the two were in as he looked to the sky as he thought.
Dante looked, and smirked. "This'll be fun!" he mentioned, snapping his fingers together. A tiny flame danced on his fingertips. He placed it in his palm, and clapped both his hands together. He opened his hands, and the tiny flame grew into a large ball of fire. Dante split it into two, and held the balls of flame in his hands in a ready position.
"Just make sure not to get hurt!" Dante laughed, ready to fight.
He smirked, "I won't try." The wyverns eyes darted back and forth between the two, once he saw the fire it's eyes widened and flapped its wings violently trying to put it out with a strong gust of wind. The flapping caused it to raise of the ground a bit and it's tail swung violently around.
The wyvern ducked down as the ball streamed over its head. It jumped off of the tree and ran toward it's attacker. As it grew close, it jumped in the air and flung it's barbed tail at Dante from underneath of itself.
Enoch pulled out a knife and threw it at it's leg, "If we keep it confused on who to attack it may get overwhelmed." he called to Dante.
Dante nodded, jumping out of the way. As the wyvern turned its attention to Enoch, he threw another fireball at his head. This time it hit, and it screeched, looking back and forth between the two boys.
Enoch smiled, he liked this. The wyvern decided on him and ran towards him. He readyed himself but just as it apraches him it swiftly turned back towards Dante. Enoch being confused let his guard down as it went back after Dante, but just as it ran toward Dante it's tale shot back. He barely had enough time to block it with his claws, the force behind his tail pushed him back and his injured shoulder recieved a sharp pain.
"Ahh, very well, I shall destract it then!" Dante grinned, turning both fists and arms to metal and practically tackling the wyvern, taking as much care not to cut himself on the scales.
The wyvern screeched annoyed by Dante's tackle. It had had enough, flapping it's wings violently it threw Dante off. Once of it landed on his arms so he was pinned. Enoch used a portal to get onto the back of the wyvern. He quickly took his cloak off and threw it over its head to blind it, the wyvern stepped off of Dante and began to try and shake Enoch off.
Dante grinned. "Whoa, this is fun!" he cheered. The metal dissapeared from his hands and arms, and he Whipped his arm throught the air, creating a sharp piece of wind. The wind could cut through flesh as easy as a blade, and Dante had aimed at the wyverns throat. He watched hoping that it would hit with accuracy.
The wyvern's neck moved viciously as the air knocked into it. It would have cut but Dante had choosen to make wind that would cut through flesh not scales. Only a tiny scratch appeared on its neck but the wyvern lost the ability to breath for a moment. Enoch feeling this as he rode it, used poison to enter the air pocket in the cloak.
As the wyvern breathed in deeply once it was able to breath, it took in the poison and collapsed to the ground unconscious. Enoch removed his cloak and dismounted, "Whew, that was crazy." he laughed as he looked at the sleeping wyvern. because the wyvern had the ability to breath poison however, it wasn't down for long. It's eyes opened and the two could hear it's thoughts as it communicated with them, it looked at Enoch, thinking he was the one to almost kill it. 'You two have bested me and let me live. I am yours to keep. My word will be held, it is the only thing of worth between us and our cousins the dragon.'
